Message	ever leaking, i narrowed it down to my intake gears, and now i wanted to make sure that i had the leak fixed thats why i asked if i can start the car without coolant and if it was bad for the engine. Since you say it will heat up really fast without coolant, i will connect everything before starting it. But why did you emphasize putting it together with the covers on? I can just put it together without the covers, see if its leaking, if its not take apart everything and put the covers back on. I wasn't going to permanently remove the covers. There isn't any harm to leave out the plastic covers just to let it idle, right? i wont be driving it like that.
